Barnsley Live Logo Design
Barnsley Live is a new events and tourism portal for Barnsley, South Yorkshire. Run by Barnsley Borough Council, I was asked to produce a clean and stylish logo for the website and supporting material. Using a classic font choice of Avant Garde along with subtle gradients the logo was born.
A feeling of metal and steel was also required, so the use of greys and suble strokes were used to create a feeling of sheen and smoothness.
The logo was designed in Adobe Illustrator in full vector and delivered in full colour CMYK and Pantone (SPOT) Colour versions, as well as jpeg and tiff versions for internal usage.
